3. Orders and Payments

  • Quotations: All quotations provided are valid for 60 days from the date of issuance.

  • Deposits: A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of a quotation to commence processing your order.

  • Payment Terms: The remaining balance is due on or before the installation or delivery of goods.

  • Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfers, and cheques.

  • Ownership: All goods remain the property of iStyle Shutters until full payment is received.

4. Cancellation and Alterations

Once an order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled or altered, as our products are custom-made to your specifications.

5. Delivery and Installation

  • Scheduling: We strive to adhere to agreed delivery and installation dates; however, we are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • Site Preparation: You are responsible for ensuring the installation area is clear and accessible. We are not liable for any damage to personal belongings that are not moved prior to installation.

6. Warranties

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Specific warranty terms include:

  • Plantation Shutters: 5-year factory warranty on paint and a 20-year factory warranty on the structure, frame, and blades.

  • Roller Shutters: 5-year warranty, including motors.

  • Other Blinds and Goods: 2-year warranty.

  • Installation: 3-year warranty.

This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or care not taken in accordance with our instructions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, iStyle Shutters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website. Your continued use of our Website or services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
